Buckner Retirement Services runs six senior living communities in Texas—Baptist Retirement Community in San Angelo, Buckner Villas in Austin, Calder Woods in Beaumont, Parkway Place in Houston, Ventana by Buckner in Dallas, and Westminster Place in Longview. These locations abide by the five Buckner Core Principles of connection, independence, purpose, security, and service and provide senior residents with high-quality care and support.
In early 2022, Buckner came to Dreamscape Marketing to relaunch all their locations’ sites. This relaunch effort included website design, content development, copywriting and editing support, search engine optimization (SEO), and more.
The design we crafted for Buckner was specifically designed for the decision-makers when it comes to senior living choices. A bright, lively design carries through each of Buckner’s websites, with strong, easy-to-read typography and lively photography. To differentiate each property, each website has a unique color scheme and appropriate imagery. A strong, consistent user interface carries throughout the different properties, and all the websites are designed mobile-first to account for the 60% of web traffic that browses the web on their mobile phones.
We then implemented SEO strategies to ensure each site was optimized for organic search results and appeared higher in relevant searches on Google. Buckner experienced organic growth after the relaunch in March 2022 across all sites. The average session duration increased, bounce rates went down, and their locations across the country saw an increase in calls.
